Question: Hi, what is your favourite thing about studying psychology?

What I love most about Psychology is getting to understand how the mind works. Growing up I used to love reading about all these psychological effects and illusions, which made me fascinated about how our mind filters and creates everything we perceive. I definitely wanted to learn more by looking under the hood! Like, I used to wonder if everybody saw the same colour when we said we saw ‘red’, or if the language you grow up speaking determines what you can perceive in the world (imagine, if somebody grows up without the words to describe certain emotions, can they experience them?). So, Psychology gave me a cool tool to study all this stuff, and it’s really fun to learn!
