Some yes, but not all. If we have gender neutral toilets that makes bathroom facilities more accessible, for all people however they identify. It would be horrible to feel excluded from toilets don’t you think. But it is also good to have gender exclusive toilets for reasons of privacy and, safety.

I’m generally in favour of gender neutral toilets. In practice, I don’t think there’s much reason for gender-segregation of toilets at all, beyond habit. My first year at university I lived in a dormitory with a common bathroom for everyone. It was really weird for the first week or so, and then was just normal and unproblematic. In the case of single-occupant bathrooms in particular, I really can’t see any reason at all to have separate toilets for men and women.

I think it’s defintely helpful to have these but I would personally like there to also be gender-specific ones as I know a lot of women prefer these.

In many places we already have gender neutral toilets. They are called… toilets.

I am 100% up for the gender neutral toilets. I had a similar experience with Matthew, while I was in the accommodation campus I had to share the bathroom with males and females. There’s nothing wrong with that, it’s all a habit… For example, in our houses we all share the toilet, we do not have a males or females toilet… and as Alexandra said they are called toilets!!!
