Question: what exactly is nature to you, Jane?

I suppose nature is anything that is not made by humans – rocks, trees, mud, animals, mushrooms, water! I grew up in the countryside and spent a lot of time outdoors observing plants and animals and I became very interested in how they ‘made a living’ and how they evolved. That’s why I ended up studying biology at university.
